FAQ

How quickly do you ship an order?

I do my best to ship as quickly as possible. Sometimes I have a piece already made up, often I have to make it to order. That means that I usually need 2-4 work days to ship out your new jewelry. Most orders are shipped via USPS Ground Advantage.

I’m happy to work with you if you need a piece quickly. I would recommend emailing me before placing your order and I can let you know how long it will be before I can ship the piece you are interested in, I can also offer some alternatives that would be ready to ship sooner. I can also use an expedited shipping option (for an additional fee) to get you the piece on time.

What is your jewelry made from?

All of my jewelry is hand fabricated from high quality sterling silver. It is nickel free and hypoallergenic. The silver has an oxidized and brushed finish which gives it a soft satin appearance. The silver is accented with hand colored cast resin and sometimes rosewood. The rosewood has a natural oil finish.

Do you accept returns?

Of course! I want you to be happy with the piece you receive, so if you are not for some reason I’m happy to accept returns. Just let me know within 30 days from receiving the work and I will send you a return label. I’m also happy to swap out necklace chains if the length you ordered turns out to not to be your preferred length.

Do you do custom commissions?

I am happy to work with you on a custom piece of jewelry. The main caveat is that the requested piece stay within the style and techniques of my current work. For example we can modify an existing piece, make it larger, smaller, add or subtract some components, or come up with something that combines elements of current pieces to create something new! If you are looking for something that incorporates things like gems or gold, I’m probably not the best fit for the project.

Do you have a retail store I can visit?

Sorry, I don’t have a retail space, and my studio isn’t open to the public, although I’m happy to make arrangements for a private studio tour if that interests you. If you want to see my work in person you can visit on of the galleries/stores I sell through, or catch me at various art festivals throughout the year. If you are in Asheville and want to see my work you should stop by the Woolworth Walk, it has a large selection of work by local artists, and the soda fountain is still in service so you can grab lunch or a delicious snack.
